“We had a wonderful stay! ”

“It’s an adorable house, furnished very tastefully obviously by a creative. Johnny is a photographer and his awesome photos of Joshua tree park landscape are strewn all over the house. The house was very clean with all the amenities that we a family of 3, would need. We used the kettle to make tea in the mornings. We stayed for 2 nights but did not get a chance to enjoy the beautiful backyard. It’s also conveniently located close to awesome breakfast and dinner restaurants and less than 15……

“Casa Mestiza had everything we needed — a well-equipped kitchen, two comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. We didn't use the cornhole, horsheshoes etc. out back, nor the patio table. But they looked nice. Communication with the host was easy and quick. She was very friendly. If I plan to return to the Yucca Valley one day, I'll book this home again as it's a known quantity and I was happy with it. Thank you.”

The house is as described in the listing, you won’t be disappointed. We laid in the hammocks and watched the desert willow tree sway in the wind for longer than we expected. The house and property are peaceful, so if that’s what you’re looking for, this is it. We enjoyed the hot tub at night, the clear skies made for unbelievable……
