The water in the bathroom only ever got warm (not hot) and the water in the kitchen for dishes only ever cold (never even warm). The bed was comfy and the heating worked well, kept the room warm during the night. But no blanket on the bed, just a bed spread. Hair on the bed between the fitted and flat sheet.
