“Very satisfied, the staff is very friendly, I forgot to take the clothes, they helped me keep them and returned them to me. The environment is very good, there is self-service coffee and hot water every day, which is very considerate. The accommodation room is spacious and comfortable.”
“Very nice and clean place. Charming decor and room setup. Indicative of staying in a barn, there were a lot of wood floors and ceilings. Noise from elsewhere in the barn traveled. Some neighbors were more quiet than others. But by 10pm (the requested noise cutoff), it was a lot better, with no problems sleeping. The beds were quite comfortable. GPS was off by one lot, but the signage made the Yellow Barn standout from the street.”
“We very much enjoyed our stay here, it’s just a few miles north of the town of Watkins Glen. We had a one bedroom cabin which was plenty of room for my husband and I. Very clean! Air conditioning worked well. It was so nice to come back after exploring to sit on the porch and watch the sunset every day. There’s a table and chairs on the porch and we ate several meals out there. There are a few restaurants in the area that we liked; “Here” for breakfast and Scale House Brewery for a couple of……

“Unique experience for someone who normally stays in national chain hotels. The room I stayed in was designed and named after a Vietnam veteran who has passed. This was a happy coincidence since I work with veterans at a VA hospital. Located in the small village of Groton, it was quiet and serene. Nice get away for city dwellers.”
