“An absolutely incredible hotel set within a stunning forest. You can watch the wildlife from the windows. We saw deer, a fox, birds including woodpeckers, butterflies and stag beetles. The onsen was great, especially the outdoor pool and the food was fantastic”

“The place is very new and nice BUT it’s a small little town with nothing but I paid SGD 420 for it for a night! They can’t even extend check out for an hour . Not friendly at all. And the washing machine has no dryer too.”

“Wonderful traditional Japanese room overlooking the lake. Unfortunately only had one night and was unable to try the traditional meal service. The hotel overall feels like a period piece from the 70s in a good way, and everything is very well maintained. The large onsen area (strictly no tattoos allowed) was great for winding down after a day of exploring. Would stay again.”

“Proper traditional Japanese stay. However check-in isn’t straight forward you have to message the owner 2 days prior which sometimes can be a nuisance.”
