“Needed a cheap stop on the way up the coast. It was cheap and fine for the price. Not super clean- had those tell tale weird spots on the walls that might be food, might be something else… I wasn’t trying to find out. Breakfast was fine but very limited- no fruit, no cereal. As a one night option in the middle of a road trip, fine. Would not stay there if I were looking to spend any more time than 12 hours.”

“Could not rate as doors were locked when I arrived and no one there. I requested a refund which they provided to me. Very frustrating”

“A brief stop on our travels. We had a nice walk around town and a comfortable room. We left before the 8 am breakfast so can’t comment on that. ”

“This was our third stay at the Waterside Inn, because we love the clean, homey feel of it. The staff are friendly and helpful and the free breakfast is a plus. Cara, the breakfast server is so friendly, welcoming, and doesn’t let you go away hungry!”

“Although there was a minor issue at check-in, it was quickly resolved. My main safety concerns are the motel's 'self check-in' system, which leaves physical keys in an unsecured box for anyone to access, and the lack of a door latch or chain for added security. Additionally, the railing leading up to the front office needs attention. However, despite these issues, the room was very clean and quiet, though it shows some wear and tear.”

“Staff was very friendly and personable. Room was very clean. I found the website to be a bit deceptive with the photos and descriptions posted. Rooms may all be water “view” but not all are water “front”. Yes, there’s a view of Asateague Island and the marshes from the docks but you can’t see ponies from there—at least not w/o binoculars. It’s a good distance across that water!”
