The owner/on-site chef made a fabulous 3 course meal for dinner, plus dessert, and breakfast was simply perfect If you do not have a car and anticipate hiring a taxi, I advise that you set up the taxi in advance and the owners will be happy to provide a number for you. “This place is an absolute gem and Pitigliano is so worth visiting. We stayed there for only one night on our trip through Tuscany but wished we planned for a longer time. Everything was clean, the owners were so friendly, and breakfast was outstanding. We will come back for sure and can highly recommend this place to everybody - but for sure with small children in the room (the bunk-bed received a 10/10 from my girls).”

“It was very inconvenient to get to the hotel because cars couldn’t get there being very narrow with the road. Reception was excellent, the room was very spacious. The shower was weak. The worst was the breakfast was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The hard boiled eggs were cold, taken out of the freezer and 2-3 days old where the yolks were very dark green. Yuck. All the pastries and pound cakes were not fresh and hard. Nothing is fresh and they charge you for the juices. Bad experience.……
