This is a great property with beautiful, clean, well decorated rooms, a very helpful staff, great breakfast, and a very convenient honor bar. Highly recommended.
Excellent location and staff was great. Location is a 10 minute walk from train station and absolutely in the middle of everything including tour logistics. The location has a vibrant nightlife . A draw back is the noise which did carry on well past midnight. The hotel did have ear plugs at each nightstand nice touch. Breakfast was wonderful and the restaurant next door was a great bonus (The Oaks as I recall) . Other Great restaurants close by .
Unique property over two buildings. We were in the second building and absolutely loved it. I was skeptical at first when we weren't in the main hotel - but we loved it and felt it was actually an upgrade. Its just a round the corner in a small square with a giant heritage tree and view of the Abbey as you stepped out. Room was very comfortable, large with modern ammenities. Very quiet in the evenings. Lovely restaurants and coffee shops in the square and literally steps from the Abbey. Beautiful hotel that I would recomend.
The location is perfect; everything is literally few minutes away. We really enjoyed being in the center. The staff is very helpful and the rooms are very clean. We did not try the breakfast so we cannot assess. The only downside are the stairs which are kind of narrow and steep, so we had to be careful climbing them up and down. But that is the case with all the historic properties in Bath.
Highly recommended
The honor bar is one of the best hidden parts of the hotel. Location is great! Walkable from train, sights are on your doorstep. Staff help with luggage so stairs are manageable. We loved this hotel.
