"We wanted a quiet getaway and chose Sunset Lagoon because of the great reviews and the promise of seafood. If you like shellfish, this is the place for you! If you like a serene view and (usually) a great sunset, this place delivers. If you love kayaking or paddle boarding, you have a beautiful place to do it. The owners are kind and helpful. You do need to think through what you need in advance since there’s no store on this island. But that’s just a little planning in advance."

"We enjoyed everything about this house! Clearly the owners put a lot of thought into the design and layout to maximize space and comfort. There was plenty of space in the house for our group of 6 and we also made great use of the deck, the hot tub and the fire pit area. The s'mores supplies and the kayaks were great additions to our stay and we loved watching the wildlife, including seals, come in and out with the tides. Communicating with the host was super easy and very helpful. We would stay here again without any hesitation!"
"We booked this property at the last minute as an alternative to camping in the rain. :-) And we were amazed at the beautiful historic home, with fantastic upgrades (my son could not believe the kitchen ovens), and the master bathroom shower is amazing with a view of the water from the shower. The ceramic hot tub in the lower solarium was exceptional. We enjoyed the kayaks! Next time we'll get out on the tennis courts too. The property is beautifully maintained and one of the cleanest homes we've ever rented. If you choose to stay here, it will be one of your most memorable trips yet. "

"Easy process to check in. The cabin was probably even better than advertised. It had everything we needed for our weekend stay and longer. Really close to 2 state parks. We got to see a deer in the yard our first morning and what looked like a big sea otter running though at night. Highly recommend!!!!"

"DRIFTWOOD VILLA is an extensive home with enough space for a big family or a large group of friends. The beds were comfortable, the floors were clean, the accommodation was comfortable. TVs and appliances were working, even if the big refrigerator was out of order the house did have a smaller full-sized refrigerator in the pantry that was functioning perfectly. The great glass windows were ideal for showcasing the beautiful views of the water and the surrounding area. I wish they had some water toys provided like a pedal boat or kayak to enjoy the water right outside the house. Bring your own life vests and toys to take advantage of the gorgeous Puget Sound. I would definitely visit this waterfront home again in the future. "
"My family and I had a great time at the Harstine Island Cabin. It's in a wonderful location tucked back into the woods for a tranquil, camp like setting. And we loved it's close proximity to the beach. Our family of 3 loved how the loft has been updated and we all comfortably slept up there and left the bedroom open, so it would comfortably sleep more than us. Upon arriving we were greeted by two deer who seemed to walk by to say hi. The kitchen had everything we needed, the towels were soft and comfortable, and we appreciated use of chairs and a wagon to take to the beach. All in all a great home base to relax at, and head out from to explore the point. "
"This was exactly what we were hoping for, a comfortable home right on the salt water with a spectacular view, roomy enough to accommodate 6 adults and 2 small children. We took the kayaks out and had a fire in the fire pit. The beds were comfortable and had most of the amenities one could want. I am hoping it will be available for us again at some point."
