“The staff were very friendly and helpful. I'm afraid I didn't get the name of the gentleman we talked to most - he was from Scotland. When our room key didn't work the 2nd day, he came up with us to check, and took them both to recharge them. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel - I poked my head in one of the mornings we were there and they did have a nice spread including a couple of waffle irons. We decided to try the 2 lovely places walking distance from the hotel. The first night we went……

“We were escaping the rain, had planned to camp. Clean and nice. We didn't have a dog.”

“Not sure how Expedia rated this at 2 stars. The “Inn” is misleading, as it is a motel, with room doors opening to the parking lot, which faces busy state highway. I could not accurately assess the cleanliness of the room as it was very very dark, with poor lighting. The bathroom was clean, and lighting was acceptable once the fan/heating element was turned on. The bed was uncomfortably soft with scratchy, threadbare linens and lumpy pillows. The door and walls had scratching and bare spots.……

“One bed had blood spots on the bedding, which was gross and should have been caught before check-in. The walls were also very thin, and I could clearly hear crying, loud thumping, and almost everything happening in the rooms next door. The biggest problem was the thin white blinds with no blackout curtains. The outside hotel lights shined into the room all night and made it hard to sleep. I’ll be staying somewhere else next time I’m in town.”

“The location of the cabin was excellent. We had an unobstructed view of the ocean and access to the beach. However, the steps were very steep making entering difficult. The shower needs repairs. It was hard to turn the water on and off.”
