"I discovered The Burlington Hotel a few years back , while passing through to visit relatives further down the coast line , i was struck by its size and location , and had to see inside . So i booked a room . A proper step back in time Hotel , but with all the modern facilities you would expect with a stay away from home .. Great staff , Great location, Great prices .Even the seagulls are friendly ....."

"We stayed for 2 nights. The check-in process was smooth and the staff member who checked us in was kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable of Brighton. The room is basic but good for the price. The walls were however, dirty with what could have been coffee sprayed on the walls. But the washroom was clean. There was nothing in regards to cleanliness that ruined our stay, just little things we noticed. The second night of our two day stay we returned from dinner to find that something from the bathroom had leaked and flooded the entry way of the room and bathroom. We informed the front desk and our room was changed. I did ask them for a small travel sized toothpaste for the trouble and they still charged me for it which was disappointing. Overall the location and staff are the best aspect of this hotel. This is a good no-frills option if you don’t care for a luxury stay, it gets the job the done. "

"Staff was friendly. The room was clean and not too cramped. One issue with the room was that the curtains didn't completely block out the sun in the mornings, they needed to be longer. Another was the lack of a USB outlet for a cellphone. Location was great, close to the train station and bus stop, pubs and restaurants were within minutes, while the beach was literally down the street 15 minutes away."
