“No shops near by and no spa either very small and basic I found the room crowded and the service was terrible ”

“The breakfast was good, service was quick. The only complaint was that when we asked if we needed reservations for supper they said no but did not mention the restaurant closed at 6. We went over at 7:30 pm then noticed the sign, there was nothing else open in the town unfortunately ”

“Suite was homely and cozy, downtown Peterborough is fairly accessible by car, and convenience store right down the road. The property has a beautiful garden visible from the patio with lots of birds visiting for those into birdwatching. Host was knowledgeable about attractions in the area, recommending multiple places for us to visit.”

“Staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel overall was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, breakfast was unpleasant at best. Eggs, sausages and pasta pancakes were all horrible. Otherwise a fine place to stay.”

“The hotel was hosting a large group of young lacrosse players attending a tournament in the city, and unfortunately the behaviour throughout the property was completely out of control. Children were running up and down the hallways unrestrained late into the evening and early in the morning. At one point, nets were actually set up in the second-floor hallway and a lacrosse game was taking place indoors. It was unbelievable that this was allowed to continue without intervention from hotel……

“Breakfast was excellent and the staff spoke great English and were very friendly.This is very unusual these days as most Canadian hospitality workers are from India and are not very friendly”

“Perfect location. Friendly staff and ok breakfast. Beds were supposed to be queen but they were doubles.”

“Air conditioner rattled and was turned off. Unable to sleep due to noise. Mattress needs to be replaced. Hills and vallies. Uncomfortable.”
