“Staff were friendly and accommodating. The only downside was the pillows were either too stuffed and/or too hard. Breakfast was excellent and it is really close to downtown. We’d stay there again just need to bring our own pillow.”

“Charming and well loved warm and detailed and comfortable. Because I booked 3rd party I didn’t receive vital info that was necessary for positive host/guest relations. Had info been received in timely manner and understood much confusion and frustration no doubt avoided (no fault of host btw, host was a victim of this disadvantage as well) Positive area, cozy and had above basic amenities. Elevated establishment with personal touch and considerable care. Perfect for a couple getaway. Beautiful……

“The room we got when we checked in was smaller than expected based on the on-line pics. When a large room became available due to a cancellation the staff contacted us by phone to let us know we could change rooms. I appreciate their follow up. They were also very helpful with restaurant suggestions and their suggestions were very good.”

“I have now stayed at Piety Cottages twice and will be back next year. The Cottages are clean. The courtyard we'll maintained.”

“Parking was in the street or behind the building- you can only park for 3 hours at a time. On our last day of our stay we had to have our car removed at 0830 because Nevada City was having an event- which meant we had to leave early. There was no communication from staff about this. The room was very expensive for no ice or coffee for the room and no parking convenience. ”

“In a really convinient area surrounded by Starbucks, grocery store, etc. Air conditioning worked, easy parking, nearby road is a little loud, but couldn't hear other guests. Other than that, it was OK. I understand that it's a fairly inexpensive motel on the side of the freeway, but that doesn't exactly excuse it from adequate houskeeping and cleanliness, which could have been improved.”
