“My friend and I stayed here two years ago and loved the roomy environment, amenities, neighborhood, and friendliness extended by Chad (the owner/property manager). We wanted a quiet, "do-nothing" vacation—other than reading, sleeping, and binge-watching our favorite shows on a big-screen TV using my Amazon Firestick. The home was spotless, the beds were comfy, paper supplies were at hand, and the kitchen had good pans (often in bad shape in other VRBOs). The roomy walk-in shower was easy to……

“We enjoyed our stay in this historic home very much. The Old West End of Toledo was new to us, and there are many interesting Victorian homes to drive or walk past. The upper floor of this home has lots of spaces to hang out in, with fun antiques, art, and retro radiator heating. We especially enjoyed the sun room in the back. The neighborhood is a bit in decline, but many of the homes are being nicely maintained. The owners left a book, "100 Things to do in Toledo Before You Die"--and it was……

“Room was very unclean. Feces on the toilet seat underside and top of seat. Granted a new room. It was much better. However for example the bathroom floors had significant dirt/muck build up in the corners. Dishwasher contained dirty dishes (someone forgot to turn it on even though the sticker said they were clean and sanitized. Clearly only surface cleaning is done. With Covid that is worrisome. Very limited kitchen utensils, etc were available. Wasn't horrible, but I wouldn't stay in this……

“This was a typical short stay hotel set up. Not sure why it was listed in VRBO. With VRBO fees it ended up over $200 per night.”

“This worked out really well for our stay prior to our daughter's graduation. Cute property and very close to campus. The only thing I would mention is that it says it sleeps 5, but I'm not sure how. We had planned to have 5, but our son had to cancel, and it was perfect for 4. I would not say the sofa is big enough for an adult to sleep on. Overall, I highly recommend for a visit to BG.”
