“This is my second stay here after an overnight stay last June. I aim to book here whenever I can going forward as it was as good if not better which was a high bar to begin with. Parking is really convenient. It was a great room with lovely air-conditioning which was required for such a warm, April day. I had a great workout in the well-equipped gym. “Room was clean but very tired as was the building in general . Breakfast was plenty but cooked breakfast was not fresh as in sausages were hard to cut and bacon crispy and dry . Have stayed there many times in the past, it’s a lovely building in style but unfortunately hasn’t been lovingly cared for by Greene King brewery. Shower was hot and quite powerful but no shower/bath mat available was a case of do I break anything on my body trying to climb out of bath as so slippery ”
