“This was a very pleasant stay, staff were friendly and engaging and the location is well placed for Hungerford. I would recommend to all. ”

The breakfast was perhaps a little disappointing- dry basic with little choice of healthy cereal or cooked food if you are vegetarian. Overall very good though.”

However, we really didn't like the Pub and Grill - small, crowded and very noisy - the football being shown on every vertical surface was embellished with loud and annoying music. We decided to eat in our room - which had its own contribution to add. The only way to order was via an app - which didn't work. As there are no phones in the rooms ( and no phone number provided to reach reception), I had to stand in the hallway to use one of the few……

“Convenient, near to the city centre and the bus terminal. Not good choice for family, especially about the bathroom setup. The shower is fixed on the wall, while the sink is too high for kid”

“Before you book, know that the primary business here is as a VERY popular family friendly pub! Most of the staff were very nice and helpful, though there's an expectation that you already know things and the anticipation that you are going to ask things that are wildly off target. The room was spacious and fairly comfortable, though needing a bit of attention--peeling paint, saggy loveseat, better pillows. A good place for a base to explore the region and basically be a place to sleep between……
