“I don’t recommend it. I checked in….went to room and checked out 20 minutes later. Sheets were dirty and the room had a bad odour. I was fully refunded immediately. This place needs to be renovated completely!”

“We had a poor experience at this hotel. The room was dirty and in poor condition. There was water damage on the wall behind the drapes. The smoke detector was missing in our room. The bathroom fan didn’t work. The hallways smelled of body odour and cigarette smoke. The fitness center was under equipped and the treadmill that I used quit multiple times in the first few minutes that I tried it. Breakfast was very busy with paper thin bacon and eggs that seemed to be made from a bag. We were……

“Room wasn't cleaned”

“Our original room had not been finished cleaned when we arrived. They moved us to a different room that was ready. There were dirt particles on the floor and the bottom of toilet was dirty. Built up dirt and urine splatter had not been cleaned up. Tub area had hard water stains as well. When walking through the hallways you could also see dirt buildup along the edges by doors etc. I would not stay at this property again. Your housekeeping staff needs to be educated on properly cleaning……

“The property is very nice. Not a hotel but more a high end hostel. No TV so plan accordingly. Spacious and communal kitchen so no room coffee. Bring a book or laptop.”

“This is a very sweet lodge with wonderful owners - Shelly and her husband - and a delicious restaurant. You can bring food to grill yourself or eat at the restaurant on their lovely patio - we did both. The complementary breakfast on Saturday and Sundays is lovely as well. The lodge was originally built in the 60s and the rooms are a bit tight but they work!”
