“We stayed here and the room was not worth $272. two queen beds and it was so old. The carpet was filthy. The tile grout in the bathroom is black. The paint on the wall was peeling. The walls are so thin you hear everything going on in the hallway and in the rooms next to you. The lobby had a weird mildew scent. “Really unique, eclectic, charming hotel. It's old school and we enjoyed it. If you've stayed at the old hotels on Block Island you can relate. Convenient to a back way into Bethel Woods (15 minutes or so- country roads), and they have a shuttle as well. We met a wonderful group of fellow concert goers at breakfast. Continental breakfast. Beautiful grounds. Town is about a 10 minutes drive with dining and shopping.”
