There was no air conditioning, just a ceiling fan, which was manageable but something to be aware of depending on your comfort level. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible wildlife—we were visited by coatis and howler monkeys, and we also spotted toucans and butterflies around the property. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and really add to the peaceful, natural atmosphere. The pool was also very refreshing and a great place to relax. After a few days, the restaurant options did start to feel a bit repetitive, but it was fine for a shorter stay. We also visited the hot springs, which were beautiful, though be prepared—there are quite a lot of mosquitoes. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for couples and families looking for a nature-filled getaway. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and I felt safe at all times."
