"Front desk staff are wonderful! The mineral pools were perfect (a little crowded but we enjoyed them). Some of the serving staff are very skilled and fantastically able to entertain guests. The room seemed a bit basic for what I was expecting and it was odd that there were no bathrobes available for us when we checked in….a mineral pools resort - right!? I asked later the night we checked in for robes on our way to dinner…success (?). The robes that were hanging on our room door handle were nowhere near sized to fit the 5’10” guys who needed them (perhaps a slightly built 12 year old …maybe). The room cleaning people did an amazing job and were so pleasant. We were unable to get the patio door open more than about a foot to squeeze out through the opening to enjoy the lovely view of the lake though as it was off the track or broken somehow. We enjoyed ourselves but were not as impressed with the resort as we had hoped. At this point not planning another visit."

"The room was clean but had an extremely strong smell almost like a glade plug in scent thing and it bothered me a lot. We had to turn on both fans and leave the window and door open for a bit. Walking up the stairs to get to the floor our room was on was sketchy. The stairs definitely need to be replaced ASAP. They were covered in mats but they also had a very strong smell of cat urine and maybe mold and/or cigarette smoke. The shower head didn't work properly so we had to shower with the wand part lol. The bed was clean and comfortable and the room was definitely freshly renovated so they may be continuing to upgrade. For the price, I would stay again. I would not recommend if you have allergies to scents."

"Overall a clean and comfortable motel with a few small niggles. We had a five night stay. Everything important worked, although the window blind in the rear bedroom didn't, meaning that the curtains had to be closed for privacy. Also a table lamp didn't work, nor the power outlet/socket in the bathroom. The Aircon unit in the rear bedroom didn't seem to fit properly with a large gap on one side blocked off with a thin piece of polystyrene. But everything else seemed ok. The room was clean although there was dust and a little rubbish behind bedside tables, etc (we needed to move them to access power sockets). Very useful kitchenette with a large fridge-freezer. Helpful and friendly staff - we were loaned a kettle as an alternative to the in room coffee machine. Parking directly outside. Right in the town centre so easy walking to restaurants and shops. Hope sits on the main rail line and so you can hear trains sounding their approach/passage - but it didn't keep us awake."
