“Let me start with we could not find this hotel. Our Uber driver couldn’t find it. We had to walk around and Google Maps could not find it. Eventually had to call and get directions. Once we found it, check in went smooth. Location is great right in the center of the walled city. The balcony was nice to sit out and listen to the bands down the street. The breakfast was good. There was a language barrier but we were able to use Google Translate and get everything figured out.”

“Exceptional stay and fell in love with Colombia and the staff. Everything was clean and even the food at the hotel restaurant was delicious. We booked the room with the private pool which was very romantic. Centrally located and luxury. Only tip for the hotel please put something out for the mosquitoes I only got bit at the pool during my entire time in Colombia.”

“Estuve 5 noches en el hotel Sophia en Cartagena con mi esposo. Las instalaciones estaban hermosas la cama súper cómoda y daban ganas de nunca salir de ella. Los desayunos estaban Ricos teníamos varias opciones y lo que más me gustó es que teníamos opciones de la comida típica cartagenera. En la piscina el bar increíble tenían muchos licores y varias opciones. En cuanto a su ubicación fue increíble todas las noches salimos a caminar la ciudad amurallada teníamos una farmacia cerca reaturantes,……

“Great option in a terrific location in the walled city. Gave our family a chance to spread out and get some laundry done before the next leg of our journey. Property has charm and was renovated to a high standard. Breakfast was included and while it wasn’t spectacular, there were multiple options and was consistently good. Would highly recommend as a two bedroom hotel option at a very reasonable price.”

“Property is lovely, rooms are awesome, food is great and staff is superb. 3 comments that I wish would’ve been proactively disclaimed: - some rooms in colonial section have no windows whatsoever, such as mine. Had to request room change, and had to insist a bit to get it. - There are renovations taking place, which imply construction noise. - Upon receiving the final check, you will get a $70+/day gratuity added. No question, not optional. I wouldn’t have minded any of these, as long as……
