“A pleasant colonial-style house, but it differs from the photos. The staff was very friendly and willing to help, though not very efficient in resolving issues. It is understandable that the property is old and they want to preserve its style, but maintenance is essential, and unfortunately, there is a lot missing: The A/C never worked, even though a technician supposedly came to check it (with Cartagena’s heat, it’s impossible to sleep without A/C). There’s a lot of mold and dampness everywhere……

“I was apprehensive about staying in a hostel for a week, but this one had excellent reviews. I definitely see why, and for other apprehensive folks, I’d Life is Good feels more like a boutique hotel than a hostel. Here’s a summary of my stay: I stayed in a very adorable private room.
