I began reaching out to her using messaging and voice mail at 4 PM to get information on getting into the building and apartment. I did receive a full refund the next day but I can not understand why the owner did not cancel the reservation as soon as they knew that the apartment wasn't available.”

“A strong smell of smoke pervades the building, and is still strong in the unit itself. The smell stuck to my clothes after I left.The dryer was not functional so it wasn't possible to do laundry in the unit. Additionally, the hot water in the shower lasted for only a few minutes. The smell, no usable laundry and not being able to take a comfortable shower made for an uncomfortable stay.
