"The Sykes Cottages customer service is appalling. No number to ring and the response time to the text and WhatsApp is ridiculous. The cottage was great but Sykes were not.
After booking I had a problem with amending the name on the booking and getting a receipt. I was eventually told it was not possible to make amendments but it was also not possible to do this on hotels.com. Also one of our party left an iPad and is quite rightly worried about. "Ran by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely.
Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful.
Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here."
"I have stayed here a few times for work and Nicky always goes out of her way and nothing seems too much trouble, I am not a huge breakfast lover but have to say the breakfast was cooked to perfection and plenty of choice, surroundings of the guest house and views are amazing, thanks Nicky and Darren and I shall be staying while im here for work whenever there is availabilty"
