“The property as a whole was in poor condition and was not clean. The food was not very nice. It appeared to be from a food service company, just thawed, cooked and served. It is clear that the premises had not been subjected to a health and safety impact assessment. For example, the showers were in the bath and no non-slip mats were provided. This meant that having a shower was lethal, as was getting out of it as the floor was just lino. Generally hygiene was very poor. Outside toilets were……

“Its location was wonderful, eating breakfast looking out over Dunkery Beacon was a joy! The hotel was incredibly clean and well maintained with every need taken care of. We had a wonderful breakfast with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.”
