""Bugs bugs and pee" March 2026 Bug infestation is never good in a hotel, we had bugs crawling across floor and ceiling and have pictures to share, my wife wouldn’t even use bathroom. There was pee around base of toilet and hair on the towels. It didn’t appear like the room had been vacuumed. But the bugs were the major issue. The employee at the front desk had the personality of a blank coffee cup. We didn’t eat breakfast because of the lack of cleanness of the room."

The space was the perfect size and incredibly comfortable, but the real standout was the shower—it was easily the best I've ever experienced, featuring incredible water pressure and a full steam function. The staff's attention to detail was spectacular, and I truly appreciated them checking in via text daily to ensure we had everything we needed. This will now be my first choice every time I visit Custer"

"The house was fantastic- from the patio out back, to the well-stocked kitchen (and welcome gift!), to the awesome hot tub, to the super comfy beds. The decor was very updated and stylish. The location was super handy for exploring the Black Hills. Jack was very quick to reply to texts.If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I would recommend this place to anyone!"
