“This is a gem amongst all motels and even hotels in the Mackinaw/St. Ignace area. Completely renovated, just like the pictures show it. And dog-friendly! Yes, you can hear occasional noise from adjacent rooms but that’s no difference when staying in a hotel. I will return to this motel anytime if I need an overnight stay in the area.”

“I cannot say enough about this wonderful property! I don’t usually stay at a “motel” but made an exception and I am so glad we did! A young couple bought this property and are renovating it beautifully! Many thoughtful touches have been added including a fire pit with all the s’mores fixings! “The property is well maintenance and has beautiful flowers everywhere and you can relax in the many rocking chairs on the porch. Also has many Adirondack chairs to seat in on the grassy frontage. The room we received was a King room but the ceilings are very sloped in the corners and you could hit your head on the creases if you’re not careful when getting out of bed. It was very small and on the fourth floor. You had to take an elevator to the third floor and then steps up to the forth floor.……

“An absolutely great hotel and location. Very clean overall, rooms had hooks and space to hang and place clothing and bags. The workout facility was one of the best I've seen in a hotel - a good set of dumbbells, pulley machine, and plenty of cardio equipment. A nice pool and the hot tub was outside, but a smaller. A roof patio to take in the view. A small, but ample bar. The breakfast was very good as well and staff made sure it was stocked and clean - coffee was good as well - even had bagels……

“Great place, price is a little high, not quite much a beach . The view of sun setting was good and The motel offered everything it promise and yes it was up to date and clean.”

“The staff was very responsive and helpful. The TV functioned well and had many channel options. The pool was well maintained. We stayed for 2 nights - were supposed to receive housekeeping services but did not.”

“It's a great location with a view of Mackinaw Island. The bar/restaurant is large with outdoor setting and a complimentary breakfast. There's also a sandy beach with chairs and a nightly bonfire. It was our third stay and we'll be back.”

“Great location within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Can't give any feedback on breakfast, it wasn't available until 8 am and we left before then to catch an early ferry.”

“Air conditioner stopped blowing cold during the night, and was very loud. Water in tub ran brown the first 3 minutes, then finally ran clear. Room was clean, staff did a good job, room just hasn’t been updated in a very long time.”

“Specifically booked this because there was a pool. As it is still listed in their amenities. The pool is empty and not usable. Manager said due to harsh winter. Upon talking to the locals, that pool hasn't been in operation for a couple of years. Manager did allow me to cancel so we could move which was nice but very inconvenient with 4 adults and 4 kids.”
