“Room floors were sticky and with black soot. The shower was very tiny and no handicap bars or handles. I had to carry my luggage from the 3rd floor because the elevator was broken; there was no staff to assist.”

In my experience the person who gave maintenance told us that Expedia had not sent the information of the guest staying and they new they had a reservation, but didn't have our e-mail to send the code, so just in case after doing your reservation, call the place and let them know you made a reservation through Expedia so they can send you an e-mail with the self-check in information. “The ceiling leaked in one of the bedrooms. We reported it. We were told it was fixed and it was not. There was obvious evidence of leaking ceilings in the villa. The internet worked only in the living room. The ice machine didn't work in the fridge. The showers spray on the floor if you don't turn it to the wall (no curtains).”
