"When I first arrived at the resort, it was a little underwhelming. Although the scenery was beautiful, it wasn’t much. I was greeted with a frozen cocktail and the staff was really welcoming. My room was not ready upon arrival and I had to wait about an hour to get a room. I was “upgraded” but once I arrived in the room, I realized the air conditioner did not work. I made a maintenance request in the app and someone came immediately to look at it. He said that he will be back because he needed more tools and he never came back for the rest of the day. The following day, I went back and told them that my air conditioner did not work and I need it replaced. They said that they will send someone. I went on two separate occasions and they never did. Third day comes around and I have an excursion so I’m gone all day, I asked my friend to go and let them know that no one still came. By the time it was time to check out the air conditioner did not work the entire duration of the trip and I was very uncomfortable. On a brighter note the food was good, but I definitely do not recommend staying here. If you do not have kids everything was pretty much catered to family fun which is understandable but would not book here again."

"The shuttles were easy to find. Within 4 days we switched rooms theee times. The first room had roaches that was all over the bathroom. Second room had bed bugs that ate us up. When we approached the management team they could. Or do anything but with our room. Victor was horrible and unapproachable. Anyelo tried to help, but don’t believe us until I showed him pictures of the beds. He told us it was mold, then sand spiders, I asked if he wanted to see my legs with bites. He stated, No after I showed him the beds. The fact that this was supposed to be a relaxing time and a birthday celebration. Our whole time spent was not what we expected. Who wants to spend two days moving rooms and not enjoying your stay. "

"Overall very average experience. The best part was the ambassador Francia. If it wasn’t for her I don’t think I would’ve had a good time. She was wonderful. The food was average to sub par besides a few dedicated restaurants. The variety was also only at the restaurants and reservations was a headache to do so. Staff was pretty friendly overall but occasional issues. The place was clean minus some hard to spot areas. Definitely should’ve had more things included with the package. Also the pool closing before 7 was a bummer."

"The rooftop jacuzzi room is a 3-star at best. Shoddy patchwork on walls and ceilings. The room had a sofa with stains all over it.The toilet room is so small you can barely move. The staff was not very friendly at all, other than our butler and a couple of the cooks. Vendors are EVERYWHERE and the property does nothing to control their harassment and begging. The food was edible. I would compare it to the food I had on deployment in the Persian Gulf. IF there was queso, it was always cold. The guacamole was virtually non-existent and instead of a true pepperoni pizza, they cut up slices of hot dog and slap it on a pizza crust. Who does that? The steak restaurant is comparable to Outback at best. The sushi is horrible in texture and the Italian restaurant is nothing more than Stouffer’s frozen lasagna, if that. The Adults Only section is NOT Adults Only! We will not be returning to the Majestic or to the Dominican. Once you leave the resort, the place is filthy with people dumping trash wherever there is an opening and is completely run down. "
