“The check-in staff could not have been more friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and had all the amenities. The bathroom was sparkling, the shower very good and there was a heated towel rail. The location is well signposted, has plenty of parking space and is an easy 15 minute walk from the centre of town.”

“It’s an old property with lots of character uneven floors and lots of steps it’s lovely and clean although rooms are a bit dated and some quite small has some outside rooms with private entrances We had a shower over a bath which may be difficult for some one elderly to use so I’d specify if you have any specific needs The food was good basic pub grub and breakfast was excellent Parking is easy and free for residents just make sure you register your number plate when you arrive The hotel is……

Slept well, though the radiators were rather hot and I didn’t know how to turn them down. Evening food delicious but morning breakfast could have been better; toast came out cold. Breakfast is slightly weird in that it’s not a self-serve, you get drinks brought to you from the options you circled on a menu from the previous night. Parking was easy but……

“The room was clean and tidy with 2 x single beds, ensuite bathroom with shower. Tea/coffee, although more sugar would have been appreciated. I was late checking in, 11pm, yet the host was there to greet me on arrival. I was also early to leave in the morning so no time for breakfast served from 8am-9am. My only gripe really was the view from my window looking out into the back garden. A tidyup wouldn't go amiss but that's me being picky. Because of my flying visit, I wasn't able to to see any……
