Top Essex Hotel Reviews
Glacier International Lodge
"Breakfast here was very good! Big variety of things to choose from, Coffee available 24/7. Some stains on the bed sheets and dead bugs all on the ceiling of our bathroom. That’s the only issue I had."
Glacier Acres Guest Ranch
"The cabin was very clean. Parking was right outside the door. Everything was as advertised, with a small dorm size fridge with freezer, microwave and single cup coffee maker. We had cabin 9 which had a walk-in shower. The bathroom was really large with hooks to hang clothes and towels. There were also hooks near the sofa and door to hang clothes as there is no closet or dresser. The cabin is very convenient to Glacier National Park. My only recommendation would be to add a mirror in the bathroom as there is only a small mirror over the sink in the main area. It makes it a bit crowded for even 2 people to get ready, a second mirror would be very beneficial. There is plenty of room in that large bathroom space."
Evergreen Motel
"Place was super close to glacier national park. It was cute, property is old but very well taken care of."
Under Canvas Glacier
"The tent accommodations were really nice and unique. Bed comfortable. There are train tracks close by that go through the area several times a night. Wish I would’ve known that ahead of time."
Meadow Lake Resort & Condos
"Condo was immaculate, staff friendly, food was excellent."
Mini Golden Inns Motel
"This motel was very well situated near West Glacier and the entrance to Glacier National Park. The room was spacious, clean, and had the amenities that we needed: a mini fridge with a freezer, a table where we could eat, a lovely tub shower, separate from the sink. There were laundry facilities and an ice machine nearby. We were able to park our car directly in front of our room. The woman at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. Hungry Horse has a few places to eat. We chose the Huckleberry Patch with great food It also had a wonderful gift store! I would come back if I were ever in the area."
Wonderstone at Glacier
"The room was very clean and the staff helpful. Missed having a microwave in the room."
Glacier Park Lodge
"This beautiful historic lodge was such a special experience! The common areas are warm and inviting. Sit in the comfy chairs in front of the fireplace, listen to live music in the evenings. We enjoyed lounging on a rainy day. A guest sat at the piano and played, an unexpected treat. History abounds in the photos and info boards throughout the lobby lounge, so informative! The souvenir shop had quality gifts and mementos. Wanda, the woman at Information was outstanding! So helpful and friendly! While we loved the common areas, beware, this is an old historic lodge and there is no elevator! We carried our bags to the 3rd floor. Rooms are very small and bathrooms even smaller. The sink is tiny, you can't really turn around in the shower. If you like being pampered, this is not for you! The lodge location is fabulous for access to the east park, and well worth the stay. I would do it again. Being prepared for the experience makes it better."
