10/10 Excellent

"At checkin all of my questions were answered. Checkin was easy. I was worried about parking for my pickup and boat but I found a spot right away and parked in the same spot both nights. The room was very nice (we had a double queen room). Every thing worked well. To our surprise, house keeping came in and cleaned the room and made the bed after the first night. I haven’t stayed in a motel/hotel where your room is cleaned and bed made daily during a multiple day stay in years. I think in today’s world that extra service goes above and beyond. I’ll certainly go back if I’m staying in the area again."

"An older refurbished motel. It was mostly clean and neat. The inside is nicely done, no carpet...which I like, except it was gritty...needed swept. Parking: only four spots in front, which is where we parked, but others must have to park in the gas station parking lot that it is connected to. Checking In: the owners were pleasant, but it took quite some time as they only had us staying one night, on the following day; I had to bring up my confirmation info to prove we were booked that night, and for two days. She made several phone calls after I showed my reservation, then told a gentleman waiting they didn't have a room for him after all. If he had registered before me, not sure what would have happened. Next day, when we returned after being gone all day, the room had not been touched. I called the office to find out why, and he seemed confused, and asked me what I wanted them to do. I explained the beds were unmade, the trash not removed, no clean towels and washcloths, etc. He sent a teenager down with two towels. The young man was very polite, but such an unprofessional way to operate. I'm not sure if they are unaware how to run a motel, or what. The morning we left, at 7:45(!), the office was dark and locked. I rang the bell twice, and after about five minutes, the owner appeared in pajamas, obviously awakened, took the key through a hole in the door, and said to go on line to get a receipt. Again, she was nice, but not what you expect. Over all, an ok stay, just odd. "

"The owner was up looking for us when we arrived late. And she had saved a spacious room for us. It was very nice for an econ-motel. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet for being just off the freeway. Unfortunately, when they say "breakfast" it's more like continental breakfast and the office (where the breakfast was) locked when we left and even calling the number on the door only got a voice mail. But the price was reasonable for that level of motel and we just needed a bed for the night."

Dark Sky Cabin Retreat

10/10 Excellent

"Loved our stay at the cabin, and the stars were amazing. What a treat getting to soak up the evening hours laying in the back yard reading in the sun. The sunset was epic. If you plan on using the grill to make yourself dinner while there, I recommend bringing camping cooking supplies to make things easier."
