“This cottage is in the perfect location! The cottage was clean, well stocked and wonderfully old and quirky. It is an easy walk into the historic town of Harper’s Ferry, but a bit steep going back, so manage your expectations and know your limitations. The host was VERY responsive and a pleasure to work with. The parking space is across the street and very tight against the hill (passenger needs to get out before parking). The town is quaint and has some wonderful local shops to visit. Our visit……

“We were given some devastating news in mid October that our dog not only had cancer but that it had metastasized and said goodbye to her on 11/7. If we thought we were heartbroken when we got that news, it wasn’t even close to the pain we’ve felt and continue to feel since our goodbye. This was a last minute trip to try to keep our minds pre-occupied from our profound sadness. I referred to it as our distraction trip but it wasn’t so much since we visited the area several times in the past with……

“The home was very comfortable. We were in town for a wedding and this was the ideal place for us to land.”

“The property is well located. The room was reasonably comfortable and the host provided some nice conveniences such as picnic plates and cutlery. On the downside, you WILL hear any night owl neighbors in the unit upstairs. Also, the flooring level change as you approach the bathroom is a bit of a tripping hazard. ”
