“Checkin was easy and the kitchen was extremely well stocked. The house is adorable, well furnished and extremely clean. It's just off the main road, but was peaceful and quiet. We saw deer grazing out in the yard one evening.Only two things were less than perfect...the king mattress wasn't comfortable, and the staircase was horrible. I know there isn't much room, but that can't be the only option. ”

You have to manage expectations because this isn't an ultra modern hotel with a restaurant, bar workout facilities, etc. However if you love history, antiques and the charm of a very unique stay, Light Horse Inn is for you. The room was very large and decorated with timeless antiques. They are very responsive via text for any questions, concerns. “Had a few day getaway with my best girlfriends. We had a minor issue because the code to enter did not work, but it was quickly resolved. This home is off the beaten path and private and quiet, but close enough (about 25 minutes drive) to go into Harpers Ferry for shopping and rafting/tubing. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and wish we could’ve stayed an extra day or two. The home was well appointed, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and a fire pit. We will definitely come back.! ”

“Ethan and his family werevery gracious and answered all our questions. We were surprised to be on th side of a mountain but our four wheel drive was handy plus 15 minute drive into Harpers Ferry was nice so it was quiet and peaceful. Lots of deer to watch!! Easy to relax!! Our only suggestion would be a small dresser maybe under thevTV and few more hooks for clothing since there is no closet. The kichen, bath and sleeping area were good. We enjoyed our stay in the peace and quiet!! Thank you...
