“Everything about our stay was very good. Lovely clean room with everything we needed. Large bath with very hot water . Kettle with tea, coffee , biscuits etc , hairdryer and iron. Dinner was good and the breakfasts were freshly prepared. We enjoyed our drinks in the bar and the prices were very reasonable. Staff Lovely and friendly, will certainly think of returning. ”

“Very poor experience, you walk in and you have to fill out crap on the touch pad and then walk over to the car park paying machine, check in should be quick, 2 minutes, all the faffing around takes 10 minutes. The extra £4 parking is a complete scam ....... If you use the gym is £28 per month with free parking every night. You pay £95 per room and you pay £4 parking -SCAM .... SCAM Never again, I have stayed several times but no more.”

“The Kiln Hotel in Wakefield has the look and feel of a run down American Motel that has been abandoned several decades ago. Desperately in need of refurbishment it appears that the new owners have not made any improvements since taking over from Campanile Hotels. The room I stayed in for 1 night looked as if it had not been decorated for 20 years and still had a lingering odour of Cigarette smoke. Whilst the bed linen was clean the base was full of stains and filthy. On a positive note the……

“Public areas and services were good but there was a wedding reception the first night of our stay so the music was loud and intrusive whilst we were having a drink in the bar area. Customer service and food were good. We were not impressed with our Superior room. Both the room and the bathroom were small, particularly the bathroom. The position of the heated towel rail meant it was very difficult to reach. The wardrobe wooden sliding doors were heavy and very difficult to move.”

“We booked the Fortune Hotel to use as a base whilst we were attending a wedding near Halifax. The hotel is in an ideal location just off the M62. In fact the motorway runs right alongside the hotel however don't let that put you off because you wouldn't know due to the excellent job they have done at the hotel to eradicate the noise. The staff are some of the friendliest we have encountered and they couldn't do enough for us. They are a credit to the hotel. Our room was clean, tidy and contained……
