“Very clean. Newly renovated. Shower excellent. Beds hard for our liking. Park lot lacking!”

“Hotel itself was good. Customer service was lacking. Called a week ahead and day of asking if we could check in an hour early. Got there and were told we couldn’t, then saw several groups of people check in while we were waiting, we tried again and then they let us check in. Also told them our room was out of hand soap and body wash and never got it taken care of our entire stay.”

“The room was clean, but it was very stuffy. The AC was not super effective. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were terrible. We went to eat somewhere else.”

“My room 124 looked like someone was trying to remodel but failed miserably. The light cover in the bathroom was broken and there was a sponge sitting on top of it. The toilet was inches from the wall and the seat was very loose. Also it looked like someone had capped off an old toilet between the tub and the toilet above ground. There were black spots on the mattress protector when I checked for bed bugs. My husband refused to sleep under the covers! Had everything in the area not been sold out……

“First, let me say the hotel was clean, the room cozy, and most of the time the staff was nice and accommodating. I rated them as poor based on two bad experiences; first I was in town unfortunately because my college age child had been hospitalized so I needed a room last minute. I used Expedia, got checked-in for what I thought would be at least a two day stay. I ended up checking out a day early passing my key to the young lady at the front desk and she advised me to work with Expedia to see……

“不错的酒店 工作人员都很友好，前台经常看到的是一个墨西哥女孩和一个应该也是墨西哥裔男生。 室内有游泳池，不大，还有个可以喷水的按摩池。 房间干净舒适，西式早餐，比较丰富，有提供水果。 酒店有个挺大的停车场。 位置就在离高速不远处，边上是个比较大的chase自助银行，对面就是加油站，还有超市，大概1公里左右有个小湖，早晚去湖边走走，看看日出日落，感觉也不错。 去bloominton和normal的downtown也不太远，如果开车的话。”

“Room was clean and quiet. It appeared that the facility was getting some updates which it needed. Breakfast was very minimal but we actually didn't have time for anything more. The hotel met our basic needs for a one night stay.”

“Overall, great hotel: clean rooms and common areas, comfy beds, good water pressure and temperature, effective darkening blinds, plenty of room space, and adequate breakfast offerings. The location is near ISU campus and nice shops and restaurants at easy walking distance. Parking is inconvenient being in a ramp across the street. Not too far away, but be aware of this in poor weather. Positives out weigh any negatives, I would stay here again.”

“Overall, our experience was okay. However, wherever you turn, you notice little things . . . a loose shower handle, exposed nuts/bolts at the base of the toilet, etc. Simple maintenance issues that differentiate a down-at-the-heels hotel from a good property. As for room service, we never broke the code on which days our room might be made up. Better hotels tell you what you might expect at check-in. The hotel breakfast was no better or worse than that offered by the chains. On the plus side,……

“Overall, the place was clean, just an older hotel. The lights did not work in the bathroom or the bedroom and no one fixed them during the 5 night stay. The pool was shut down as well.”
