This was a perfect place to land near campus with lovely grounds and interior to enjoy day and night. Yummy breakfast and friendly staff to boot! Can't wait to return :)
Lisa and the staff were very helpful and made every effort to make sure I had a great and enjoyable stay. Morning breakfast was nice, room clean and location was convenient. Would stay again.

Property is under construction but the staff is amazing
This a charming and beautiful old building. The individual rooms and common spaces are inviting, and sitting on the lanai with a view of Honolulu is wonderful! The owners provide a simple but filling breakfast and a coffee station and fridge near the sleeping quarters. All staff were welcoming and receptive to questions. If you’re looking for accommodation away from the Waikiki area, or near UH, this is a great choice. We would definitely stay here again!

This is an old and historic property. It is still being renovated , but was comfortable and gave an experience of an old, historic plantation home. Manoa Valley is a good location. It was nice to sit out in the morning and look at the garden and listen to the birds.

This is a neat historic house turned into a bed and breakfast. It has room for improvement and it will come with time as it has new owners as of last year.
The 1919 historical home is a work in progress. Renovations are not totally complete, but the current condition is beautiful, quiet and quaint. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I'd stay there again.
When the place is filled, more organized parking would be a bonus.
Room was very spacious and comfortable. Loved the decor and breakfast. Need to complete the renovations for the whole house to make it a excellent experience.
AC was fabulous. Our room was really comfortable. loved the old house. Just needs a little love especially the outside grounds. Breakfast staff could be a bit more friendly but we made it work.
This place was incredible. Owner is incredibly nice, rooms are well cleaned and put together, plenty of windows so lots of airflow, fans in the rooms, ac, everything. Building is historic and old and it adds to the atmosphere. Made me feel instantly at home.
The staff was super friendly, and I love that they're trying to renovate and restore this beautiful old home. My room was huge, and they had good wifi with TV access to all streaming services. However, it seemed like the room and bathroom hadn't been cleaned, and I didn't have control over the air conditioning in my room. Otherwise, beautiful spot, and I suspect will only get better!
Our stay at the Manoa Valley in was very nice. The manager was extremely helpful the entire time we were there. The breakfast was very tasty, served out on the back decks, surrounded by the garden. The wind knocked out the power one evening, and we were offered a different room that might have been cooler, but we decided to stay in ours, and sleep on the massive window seat. It was convenient to have parking right in front of the building. We would love to stay at this location when we visit again!

The inn is a historic home. It needs lots of work. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was good. There was lots of noise during the night that sounded like furniture being moved around over our heads.
The staff is a trio of young adults who are working on the property and hosting…hopefully they will grow into the hosting role and manage to make the repairs needed to return the property to it’s former glory.

House is a historical site that is in the process of being restored. A mother owns it and her kids help her. The property was in disarray when they purchased it a year ago, and you can see step by step how they are bringing it back to its original state. They have come a long way. It still needs work, but you would stay at this location because you appreciate different things as opposed to a resort. You stay here because you support a local family, and have an appreciation for history, architecture, etc. Of course it doesn’t have the most modern amenities, but that isn’t the point, or the reason you would stay here. The family is accommodating, the property is beautiful, it’s quiet, it’s simple.
This place was not at all like the photos or descriptions on expedia. On the plus side it was conveniently located for a visit to relatives nearby, and the room was large with a strong (and welcome) air conditioner; in all other respects it was disappointing or worse. Although we were there for 10 days, there was no room cleaning, trash removal, etc. When we asked for fresh linens and towels halfway through, this was left by our door 2 days later. In both cases, the bed linens were ancient and threadbare. There was no mirror in the bathroom. No shelf for soap, etc in the shower. The "breakfast" was abysmal: white bread (toast it yourself), with butter but no jam, a made to order scrambled egg (singular) or out of a mix pancake (singular) and/or a strip of paperthin bacon. Limited parking for up to four cars, at inadequate spaces that carried a constant risk of scrapes. A once lovely, now unkempt garden, and a leaf-strewn swimming pool. Most of the time no staff was visible. A once gorgeous property mostly gone to seed.
The convenient location is what I was looking for and that is all we got. We arrived after a 14 hour plane ride and the parking was only a few tight spots. We were led to our room up several flights of stairs with multiple bags so please be aware if you have any accessiblity issues. Then we enter a hot room, so we turn on the AC and head to pick up a few essentials and return to the AC that doesn’t work at 9:30pm. Tried to call the number that was provided with no answer. Opened the windows to dust covered all on the top of the windows. We were going to try to stick it out till we pulled back the bedsheets and the mattress was exposed. We immediately left and tried to call again with no answer and booked another hotel for the next couple nights. I am not one to leave a bad review because I feel like there are things that occur, but after 2 unreturned phone calls and an email that was never answered informing we would not be staying I didn’t know what to do. But trust me, they charged my credit card the final day. Also the pool looks nothing like the pictures, not sure you can swim in it at this time.

Its a very unique stay, had no issues checking into my room. I arrived in the afternoon and just called the number on the door and someone showed me to my room. I was staying in the Dillingham and at first was a little worried about the door that leads to my what was supposed to be a private bathroom. The door was just locked from the inside, but not completely closed off you could open it ever so slightly which was worrying, but you can only do so much I guess. The room was warm, but after asking for the ac remote was comfortable. The view of the mountains from the bathroom is nice. I stayed for 10 days and was given new towels midway through the stay. The location was very convenient as I was visiting someone from the University there. I didn’t go to the breakfast while I was there the one time I attempted to go I went to the “kitchen” area and was told to leave and wait. It is an old building but my room was well kept other than some dust on the windows. There was also a hatch that led to the attic in the bathroom which I had to close and a budda? Statue behind a curtain next the the bathroom which I thought was weird, but I didn’t care. The backyard was very green and luscious it was very pretty. The pool, however, was not clean sadly, but I didn’t go to Hawaii to swim in a swimming pool, would have been nice though. There was also a cockroach that I had to kill in our trashcan. They have washers and dryers there so that was nice.
Staff was very hospitable, room was clean & comfortable. I would recommend this business. Only down side was that darn rooster that couldn't tell time.
We like this historical charming property with a nice garden and indoor/ outdoor sitting areas. The property is in Manoa residential area near the university. It feels like visiting relatives in Hawaii. It is not resort hotel type of experience.
Lisa works so hard to get us ice water and figure out the AC for us. She is such a nice host.
We will like to come back and suggest this place to others.
The entire property was run down. The room was lacking and cleanliness. The floors were so dirty they were sticky. There were holes in my sheets. I was staying in the Baldwin room and it smelled horribly and gave me a headache. I had to open the windows which meant that I had to sleep in a hot room. I will never stay at that place again and I would never recommend it to anybody.
