“Property is a short drive to restaurants and the town of Trinidad, which was the nicest of all the towns we visited. Our trip was primarily to hike the redwoods and surrounding area, so it was conveniently located to everything we did. Everything was clean, cozy and the staff were friendly. This was our first time here and all of the research I had done led us to book the right place the first time.”

“Perfect cottage for a weekend getaway. It’s a very quiet and clean home with all of the basic necessities. Large backyard surrounded by beautiful greenery. It’s close to the Trinidad town where you’ll find some eateries and a grocery store. Easy access to the freeway. Communication with the host was quick and easy.”

“The tent and beds were clean and comfy. Showers were nice and hot. Our picnic table was falling apart and not usable.”

“The room had been painted over at least a dozen times. The tissue holder is located in the wall and is metal reminding us of hotels from decades ago. The bathroom appeared to have suffered multiple casualties to the sheet rock and wall. The window had blood splatter on it and the adjacent wall which was not noticed until day light came through the window and illuminated the space. The exterior of the facility matches the ambiance of the interior with litter and cigarette butts at the rear……

“We arrived and the house was a mess with beds stripped and used towels laying around (it is important to note we had not been informed that bringing our own bedding might be necessary, and thus were unable to stay the night). It had clearly not been cleaned since the previous renter despite the fact that we checked in an hour after 4. Moreover, the house did not smell good and the bathmat was visibly very dirty. It was also not disclosed in the house’s listing that it was both attached to……
