“Overall our stay was great. The apartment is very cool and unique and is in a great location for exploring Cave City and Mammoth Cave National Park although there really is nothing to do in Horse Cave. The apartment was clean and offered many conveniences like a full kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the AC and TV worked well. The only reasons I could not give it a 5 were the entry door and shower. The door is very old and does not offer much security. One kick would easily open it. ……

“Nice house with the perfect fire pit close to a lot of different caves.”

“Our host was extremely accommodating. Communication was great. We were supplied with firewood and a great place to cook out. We spent our last evening by the fire pit and it was quite peaceful. This is the perfect place if you want a camping atmosphere without the camping nightmares (poor sleep, bugs all night, etc.) Our bed was comfortable, our shower was warm and the kitchen was clean and user friendly. We truly enjoyed our stay at Patrick’s Place.”

“The property itself was as listed, but we spent an hour trying to find it. We had to stop and ask a resident of the area for directions. He said “good luck with that place. They’ve been shut down a few times” He also warned us about copperheads and rattlesnakes. We were never able to contact the host. VRBO offered to find us another place. We ended up staying at a hotel. VRBO said that they will compensate us for the cost ”

“The bunkhouse was incredibly clean and tidy, we all had an amazing stay and even ended up booking and extra night! The horses were fun to watch and next time we will definitely try and go out on a trail ride. Highly recommend, host was lovely and welcoming and we felt at home here so much so that it was really hard to leave!”

“What a beautiful and unique stay!! We love horses and my 11 year old daughter enjoyed petting them. It was also really neat at night when sitting on the porch in the dark with the fire and string of porch lights. We weren’t able to see out into the pasture and then would hear the horses wander over to our area. Loved it so much!! My 7 year old son fell in love with the goats. The host was so kind and wonderful with communication! She even offered for our kids to help feed the goats and they……
