“The listing of this place doesn't do it justice! We were very pleasantly surprised to find an historic cabin that had all of the updated modern amenities--that didn't take away from the historic charm. Clean, comfortable, quiet, great lakeside location--couldn't ask for more--and the host was awesome--very responsive and extremely accommodating and friendly. If you are headed to the area--I would choose this place over any other hotel, inn, or rental that I've seen.”

“Our stay was fine. The only concerns or problems we have was the fact there weren’t enough towels for a two day stay. I don’t know if that is typical to only have a day’s worth of towels. Then Saturday afternoon the furnace quit and the host didn’t respond to my message. I had to call her. We just decided to drive home. So, we made the 4.5 hour trip back home at 7:30 PM. I sincerely home we are refunded our second night like the host she would do.”

“Spent three nights in this lovely home. There were eight of us and plenty of room to spread out. Had an evening fire one night and enjoyed the side porch immensely. The house is walking distance to everything. Everything in the house worked properly, bed was comfy and plenty of towels. We recommend this house for its convenience to everything and comfort level. “A comfortable place for my women's weekend away. The house is located in a nice neighborhood close to groceries, shopping, and restaurants. Kitchen equipment was sparse - we needed to supply cutting boards and a toaster. The oven broke the first night of our stay, but the host communicated quickly with us to try to find a solution. The listing shows the property sleeps 14, but there are only beds for 10. Two provided air mattresses make up the difference, though one of them leaked severely and……

“The property was everything we could have asked for and more! My kids had a great time swimming in the pool and exploring the grounds. The pool cover quit working while we were there and the owners came right out to try and fix it. Extremely nice people I might add. Will certainly visit again!”
