“Excellent, spacious room which was very clean as was the en suite bathroom. There was a good breakfast menu and the cooking was very good. The location just off the central market place is excellent and it is a good spot for exploring the Borders. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful.”

“Not much could be improved upon at this beautiful, immaculate, well-organized B&B. Uta was delightful. The room & toilet were lovely, spacious, and wonderfully decorated. The view from our room (and even the toilet!) was one of the grand memories of our trip. Parking was in an enclosed area and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. You won't go wrong here!”

“Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. ”

“I can't say enough about this place. Our stay was exceptional and revitalizing; If you're looking for quiet and solitude this is the place to go. You can hear bird chirping, no road noise, and the gardens are beautiful. The food was fantastic. I can't say enough about the staff. They are amazing and everything you wished a hotel staff would be. They catered to us like we were the only ones there. “Parking was easy, shower a bit wonky door but easy to use, was a bit hot in the night but very comfortable. Shame there was nowhere to get food.”
