“Darling place. Relaxed atmosphere. In the evening we sat outside chatting with other guests. It was early May so too early for the pool but it looked cute. Price was right. Only complaint was no coffee in the room and community coffee didn’t start until nine. If you’re early risers, bring a small keurig and coffee pods with you. Or drive to the gas station.”

“2nd time we have stayed here. Staff is wonderful, helpful and very friendly. Location is great and are planning on staying there again very soon. Love the atmosphere of this motel.”

“Stayed for several days. Room ok, bedding fresh and clean. TV no signal until the day we checked out, must have been a fluke! Had our phones anyway so it didn't matter much. Staff pleasant and accommodating. Not a bad stay!”

“We were in Michigan for a special event. Like all places, rates go up significantly for big events. I found this motel. It looked nice and was value priced. It was nice. It was really clean, the location was great for our needs. It was the beginning of the season so were very few people in Douglas. We really enjoyed the area. The beds were comfy. My only complaint was no maid service. I did not expect any but for 3 nights it would have been nice to have the trash taken out. The rooms……

“Had to wait till 6pm to check into a room with only 1 bed when I reserved a room with 2 beds. No smoke detector, no hot water, no soap, plugs didn’t work properly. Blinds barely closed. The room was “clean” as it seemed like it was just finished being half remodeled.”
