Meticulously maintained and beautifully remodeled and furnished, this 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo offers privacy, seclusion, pristine meadow views and convenient access to the Timber Creek lifts and base village. Located on the second floor of the meadow building, with the easiest access off the parking lot, this is the most coveted location in Edelweiss! Features include a covered deck overlooking the meadow, new free-standing pellet stove, all new stainless steel appliances, new carpet and vaulted ceilings. The townhouse style of these condos and easy access to the meadow for cross-country skiing is another big plus!

Week of skiing
Excellent location, less than 2min walk to TC lift. Great way to start and end day. KW is a 'skiers mountain'. There is virtually nothing here except skiing :) Expect to drive for meals - food at the mountain sucks, but you didnt come here to eat. You came to ski/ride :)

Why use VRBO in the case?
I am not sure why i book through VRBO when there is no communication with VRBO and no support. All the communication was through Pyramid Peak Properties. I even had to sign more stringent waivers with them. The cancellation policies as shown on VRBO differed from the ones that Pyramid Peak offered (I had less time to cancel if need be) In my opinion there is no point here in paying a VRBO fee on top of what was already paid to Pyramid Peak so next time i will be seeking a direct agreement rather than involving VRBO.

Weekend ski trip
Property matches description well. Great location - 5 min walk to Timber Creek Lift, 10 min to village area (or quick shuttle). Amenities were great. King bed in loft. 2nd bedroom has queen on bottom, single on top bunk. Couch was a good option for our family of 5 (kids slept well there) but no pullout feature. We would stay again!

It was good. We have stayed before. It is a convenient location for summer--close to all the lakes and hiking trails. The kitchen is well equipped for simple meals and the large sectional is nice for everyone to be able to stretch out for a movie. Spacious balcony with meadow view is always nice. The only critique I have is that the place really needs a deep clean and then regular dusting. The level of dust on the ceiling fan, beams, curtains, light fixtures, and many other surfaces made us all very dry and stuffy and itchy. Also, the bunk bed needs to be tightened up--too wobbly for our son to sleep on the top bunk.

A great space for a family. My kids loved the bunk beds. I thought everything was fantastic except the beams and curtains in the main bedroom were very dusty. Everything else was clean and wonderful so I'm probably being a bit picky about this but I did wake up in the middle of the night with an allergy flare up and that rarely happens.

Great location, great place
This location is perfect for us with young kids that wanted to stay at Timber Creek all day. It's an easy walk across the street, our age range of kids (9, 12, 15) were all complain-less with the walk fully suited up for skiing! Condo fit us easily. My only hesitation with this place was the heating. It was really hard to be warm downstairs and not boiling hot upstairs. When the fire was going in the stove, it was almost scary how intense it is. Other than that, all good!!

Perfect for alpine and cross-country skiing
This place is amazing! It is a very short walk to Timber Creek lifts, and overlooks the Meadow for cross-country skiing/snow shoeing. The view of the Meadow is lovely and the pellet stove keeps the place nice and toasty. The kitchen is well appointed with everything one could want (incl. spices, ziploc bags, great pots and pans, and small food storage containers). The beds are comfortable and everything is clean. The only thing we saw that could be improved is the upstairs shower doors that did not want to stay put. The property management is very responsive and even brought us more pellets for the stove before we asked for them. We would definitely love to stay here again! Thanks so much for a perfect week at Kirkwood!

Every changing sky makes for amazing views.
The location is good for access to a meadow for dog walkers or cross country skiers. There's a shuttle to the chair lifts that makes up for being a little farther away. The distance makes for a quiet stay. The sky is always changing so the view stays amazing.

Only issue was tat the stove when turned on had a very nauseating smell of fish. Apparently someone broiled fish in the oven at one point and dumped contents in the oven. Rendered the oven useless thus we had two frozen baked meals that we had to deal with. Cleaning crew needs to addtess

Great Unit! Will stay again!
This was a great unit with a private entrance, easily accessible from the parking and with a large balcony overlooking meadow and mountains rather than looking at other properties. My husband and I came with our 10 year old son for a summer trip to hike and swim the various lakes in the area. Great location for accessing trails and great swimming lakes. The unit was clean the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well appointed with appliances and cookware. The bedrooms are on different floors, and the "kids" room is on the first floor near the front door, so may not be ideal for families with small kids. The only constructive criticism I have is that the bar chairs for for counter, which is the only place to eat, are uncomfortable because the seats are well broken in and you kind of sink into them and because they are on carpet, they are hard to maneuver to get comfortably seated. Replacing with firmer, backless swivel stools would be better. It would be nice to have a table for eating instead, but no room with the massive couch, which was awesome. Very comfortable couch with enough space for the whole family to stretch out and enjoy a movie together. All in all, a perfect unit for us, and we will definitely book again.

Great location, great property, great communication.
Just an all around great experience. So easy, the space was beautiful and cozy. Comfy beds, soft sheets, plenty of blankets and pillows - all the stuff that makes staying away from home a more enjoyable experience. Only drawback for my fellow thick haired friends is not great water pressure, but that’s no fault of theirs! Just be prepared for a little longer in the shower. Really recommend staying here. We loved it!

Incredible Kirkwood Getaway
If I could give this property 10 stars I would!! We were looking for a last minute 3 day getaway during spring break. The kids had never skied and we were trying to find somewhere with private lessons and passes available. We came across kirkwood and everyone we spoke to (ski lessons, rentals, etc) could not have been nicer. Then it came time to find somewhere to stay... we came across this property and we’re not sure of the location but the size and price were right. We were so blown away at how cute, convenient and perfect it ended up being. The kitchen had everything we needed! The beds were so comfy, the views were beautiful, the neighbors were friendly, and the location was perfect. The rental company was super responsive and kind and it just could not have been a better first ski experience for our whole family! Do yourself a favor and book this place now!! You will not regret it!
