“After a long journey, arrived to a room that had not been cleaned from last guests. Called owner to complain and he offered us the room next door which was prepared fro new guests. We accepted but felt the room wasn’t as clean as it should be. We asked for a discount but was refused. I felt it was overpriced. ”

“The only thing we had problem we encountered was no written instructions how to operate the 2 in 1 washer/dryer. We washed our clothes without problems. But, couldn’t figure out how to operate the “dryer” mode. We had to go look for a laundry mat to dry our clothes.”

“This room is tiny. The large window/sliding door lets in all the heat and there is no A/C to cool it off, just and under-powered fan to blow the hot air around. You can’t leave the door or wi Dow open as the insects flock in. The ensuite is fine but the shower is tight. The walls are thin so unfortunately you hear all the movement from next door. ”

“Excellent location and a clean/ well appointed room. Within easy walking distance of everything. We would stay here again and this unit is definitely recommended. ”

“Lovely stay Ann-Maree was so welcoming lovely room with an amazing view and all the amenities you could hope for. Ended our visit with a superb breakfast and lots of tips for our onward travel and a great podcast recommendation for the drive to Mount Cook. Hope to return one day.”

“Good communication with host, clear instructions for contactless entry. Modern apartment with a good kitchen and washing machine, comfortable bed. However the apartment is a bit run down with damage to the walls from furniture, the floor mat in the lounge is stained, there is mould in the shower, weeds and cigarette butts in the garden. If these were fixed, I would rate this property as a 5/5. The location was good, a quiet complex, deficated parking and a nice little outdoor area.”

“If you like a themed room styled by Thing One and Thing Two from Dr Seuss then this is for you . Don’t be fooled by the exposed beams and fireplace photos on the home page being in your room because they are not . Gaining access on arrival which only can be done on a Smartphone if you have signal and if you like dealing with s faceless system then this is for you as well …. it was very stressful . Being very cold and I had visions of having to sleep in our car because no Pin code for our room……

“Convenient. Quiet. Nice view from the hot tub to the lake and mountain in the distance over a lovely flower garden. Electronic lock easy to open but takes a few attempts at timing to get to lock. Full kitchen. Even milk for coffee in the fridge. Everything we needed but a washing machine. We’ve been traveling three weeks and I missed this house didn’t have this feature. Someone in maintenance inadvertently dropped 9 new nails and screws scattered across the parking but no harm. Highly……
