“Excellent environment, helpful staff and really enjoyable”

“Very good hotel，great room n comfort， suitable for family”

“Didn’t like anything about the Strathmore Hotel Morecambe The place was falling to pieces The pictures on the website don’t match the actual place We were booked in for 2 nights but only stayed 1 it was that bad My advice is to avoid this hotel at all costs”

“Always a great stay. Lovely large rooms with great views. It’s perfectly positioned Easy parking and lovely food See you soon”

“A very quite and peaceful place in June. Very convenient, 8 mins walk to Aldi, 16 mins walk from Morecambe Station.”

“A very helpful and nice staff at the reception.”

“Lovely owners who have run this place for over 40 years. It is set back in time, early 80s and an education and experience of that. However does have Wifi and central to the Town. I was upgraded to a larger room with en suite without asking which was a nice touch. Pleasantly surprised with the cost that it included breakfast, I had porridge, fruit juice, cooked breakfast and toast. All floors have stairs which would not be suitable for the less mobile.”

“Lovely old building, well located and enough parking at the back of hotel in side street. Comfortable bed, room was well maintained, especially the bathroom. Room was spacious enough for one person.”

“Convenient location. Easy parking. Continental breakfast was a bit basic, You get what you pay for and for the low price you can't expect the ritz. Would probably stay there again if I ever go to Morecambe again.”

“We love the breakfast freshly cooked from the menu, there’s continental from the buffet as well. Apparently need to do some improvements with the room conditions. The housekeeper didn’t get the rubbish from the bin inside the toilet for 2 days. Hotel located opposite to the sea with beautiful views. Free parking along the road after 6pm until 9am. There is public parking available around. On the average ok for the stay, spacious room.”

“There was no wifi in the room, ”

“The location was perfect - at the north end of the bay with a lovely sea view - and was very clean with everything I needed in my room. I did feel very young - I'm 64! - but thankfully only used the hotel as a one night stay and didn't spend any time in it, other than to shower, change & sleep. So for me, it was exactly what I wanted. I wouldn't use it to stay and spend time there though as there never seemed to be anyone on the reception or at the bar (which I only visited once) but someone……

“The internet connection is unstable. Other than that, it’s great place to stay. Friendly and competent staff. Clean room. Great bar. The hotel is within talking distance to the Lancaster train station (ca. 13-15 min) and local bus stops (ca. 5 min.)”

“Lovely renovated sea view room, quiet. Great breakfast. Only downside was the lack of an elevator. Staff were really helpful and allowed a late checkout, organised at breakfast with no problem.”

“All was lovely and the host were extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.”
