"Started our stay with a great check in. Meet the GM who is a wonderful lady. We chatted a min or two. When we got to our room we were amazed of the space we had. It was clean. "Loved the laid back nature of the place- no front desk Just arrive, take a life jacket and pull out a canoe and get busy enjoying the amazing lake. Nothing fussy about the place. Restaurant was delicious/ top notch food. Low key staff that help anyway they can but don’t get in way. Firewood and all you need to enjoy your evening in quiet. I’d probably get bigger room Next time .. our space for 4 was tight but I had cheap room "

"The room was simple and clean. Kate was super friendly and was always available if we needed anything. We went during off season, so the hotel was updating, and the town had limited dining options. It is less than a mile away from the Wild Center which is walkable, so very convenient."

"Cabin was extremely clean. Had everything you would want at your fingertips. Loved the compact kitchen with all the utensils needed to prepare meals. The bathroom shower had good water pressure & plenty of hot water. Cabin bed was very comfortable & plenty of blankets. Only small disappointment the kindling wood to use in the firepit was too wet to start a fire. Maybe an outside box to cover the wood to keep it dry would help."
