Bracken Hide Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Pros: Quiet and peaceful. Beautiful views from cabin. Sauna was fabulous after a long day with variable weather conditions. You can book them in advance and have your privacy. Tea, coffee, hot pot refrigerator in rooms a big convenience. Bathrooms are modern, with in floor heating and towel warmers. Beds are comfy and linens are top notch. Breakfast included was delicious. Dinner was very good. Cons: There can be a bit of a hike to the cabin up hill. Don’t let that stop you this place is fantastic. But after a long day of hiking and rain it can be tough!! They will bring up your luggage just not you. Staff overall is very good but a few of the waiters and bartender it were odd to communicate with."
Atholl House Skye

"The staff were amazing! The room was a little smaller than we were expecting but comfortable. It was in a great location and we had everything we needed."
Redwood House Hotel

"Everything good, everyone kind and helpful"
Hame Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We absolutely loved our stay at Hame on Skye. The property has a lovely casual atmosphere that mirrors the views. Our room was well appointed, breakfasts were fantastic! We had the haggis, Florentine and bean selections, all were equally delicious. The gathering room was cozy and comfortable offering intimate seating and group seating and the view from the restaurant was unmatched! Staff & owners were incredibly friendly and professional."
Greshornish House Hotel
8/10 Good
"Super cool location that is completely remote. Watch out for pot holes on the drive in. We had dinner and breakfast and the food was incredible. Our room was in the anttic and very small. As tall people we couldn’t stand comfortably in the entry way or shower. Would book again in another room."
Charming cottage in lovely Glendale, Isle of Skye. 2 bed, 2 ensuite
8/10 Good
"This was a beautiful property - once we actually found it. A hand drawn map would have been extremely useful as Google Maps was useless. Thank god we ran into some locals who helped us out. It was very late and we drove in circles for way too long on tiny roads trying to find the property. It was very clean and welcoming. Loved that we had a washer. Really wish we knew there was no hair dryer. Also the tv was broken and you could only tell once you turned it on. I also had a trouble with the shower. Maybe I just didn’t know how to properly work it but I could only get hot water to come out. Very comfy beds and I loved that we all had ensuites. The location was good if you are checking out Dunvegan etc. We needed to leave very early the next morning so the location was not ideal but we didn’t realize how tight the roads were and how long it would take from one spot to the next. First time to Scotland! Overall beautiful property."

Skeabost House Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great staff from check-in to the in-house bar to housekeeping. All were very professional and helpful. Breakfast was standard British breakfast. Bar and restaurant were very good. Which is nice since the hotel is a ways from other places."
A Perfect Base For Exploring Skye And The Cuillin
8/10 Good
"This house fit our needs for our 2 day visit to Skye. We were 4 adults requiring individual beds to sleep in. There are very few properties that could accommodate this requirement. On the positive side the views from this house are stunning. We also enjoyed eating at the Old Inn in Carbost. It is a quaint charming village who sees a lot of tourists visiting the distillery. The house has experienced much usage over the years. The beds were not particularly comfortable and the linens were clean but heavily used. Otherwise the house had everything we needed. If your expectations are not set high you will be quite happy here. The rates are quite reasonable compared to other lodging in Skye. We felt it was a good value."
