“Wonderful! The room is very spacious (especially for European standards), clean and comfortable! Bathroom was huge and shower was great. Loved the sauna/spa pool amenities already included with the room fees - those were a great treat after a long day of hiking. The hotel is spotless and has a very modern design. Breakfast was good and convenient to have on-site. Loved the location as well (not as busy as main areas in Funchal) but walking distance to a mall, restaurants and the waterfront.……

“Clean, comfortable rooms with an amazing breakfast buffet. Views from rooms where amazing. Close to airport. Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms a bit dated and pool area could use a refresh but overall a great stay.

“Hotel Quinta do Furão is one of the most beautiful hotels that I've ever stayed at. The highlights were the cliffside view with the Atlantic Ocean and mountains in the background, and waking up to the sunrise over the ocean in the morning from our room's balcony.
Apart from the view, the hotel is well maintained and the breakfast each morning was very satisfying.”
