“This place is terrible. Not enough staff, unhelpful staff (no offer to help with luggage etc.), check in process was slow, room was unclean and it’s run down. Just a weird vibe and I’d never stay here again. ”

“Beautiful hotel and grounds! Friendly and helpful staff, delicious food! A wonderful all inclusive experience. We had a beautiful room with an extra large balcony with partial view. Room was always cleaned daily and towels changed. We enjoyed the location, the ample parking and the grounds. Kids enjoyed the heated pool and we all enjoyed the buffet, kulinarium restaurant and the evening shows. We are already planning our next trip there! “Near airport , few shop and restaurant. lobby have free wifi and if you reg the member,you can get the free a bottle of madeira wine,a bottle of water and fruit.No air-con and fan in room ,but we feel cold as the wind.Beautiful view .You can take bus to Funchal,around 15min and cost around 2Euro/way”

“Booked due to our cancelled flight, was a quick checked in and very professional service. Room was clean and spacious. After a long wait for our flight back to London and then be cancelled a nice place to rest is all we needed. Thanks for the complimentary bow of fruits delivered to our room and a litre of drinking water. They also offered an airport transport which is a big bonus. ”

“The hotel natural estate was beautiful, the grounds were in there own gardens , the staff very friendly , everything so clean and helpful. Everything was exceptional. The restaurant was very interesting and good , breakfast was so delightful with all the fruits and choices to eat. It is a 5 star excellent hospitality. The outside pool was lovely as well as indoor spa. Not hot but refreshing. ”

“Location Location Location, right at the heart of Funchal, by the market, old town, shopping, harbour and transport links, perfect. Great communication with the staff through what's app, helped print boarding passes and booked taxi's and restaurant with them. Swimming pool and bar on the roof with amazing views and great live music. Restaurant was fantastic, recommend the Bao buns and the steal to share, Apartment had everything we needed plus plenty of space and extremely clean. Lastly they……

“Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Um es freundlich zu formulieren: es ist eine stilistische Zeitreise in die 70er/80er.🙂 Das Frühstücksbuffet hat mich dagegen sehr positiv überrascht - sehr reichhaltig mit verschiedenen Brotsorten, Obst, Gemüse. Einzig die Nescafé-Kaffeemaschine finde ich unpassend. Frisch gebrüht und am Tisch serviert bevorzuge ich da eher.”
