“Very clean and fresh. Water bottles were included in the room. Best shower ever taken. Perfect for walking to downtown Salem. Staff was friendly. Side note: Salem Witch House museum. Nothing to do with witches. It is the house of a judge who resided over the trials. Not worth the money. Witch Dungeon Museum more about the witches.”

“Location was perfect right on Essex, close to everything. The staff was fantastic, very pleasant and welcoming. The room was cool not your run of the mill hotel room. Bed was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!”

“Check in was confusing, but after texting with Heather, we figured it out. You enter through the restaurant and since it was closed on Mondays, there was no staff on site. The suite we were in was very nice, brand new and big. The shower and water pressure was great. The bed was very comfortable. The stained glass windows were beautiful. The inn is on a busy corner and you can hear the traffic at times. Breakfast was basic and the trash can was overflowing as there was no staff to clean it up.……

“The room was great- exactly as described. The gentleman owner was kind - lived on the premises and spent a lot of our stay mowing the lawn and working in the gardens. Would be a bit uncomfortable for femme people traveling alone, but a good set up for people looking for conversation or company. ”

“If you’re looking for a comfortable, peaceful, clean, and spooky place to stay, The Cove is definitely for you. This is my 2nd time staying here before the recent renovations and it was everything I could imagine and more! Definitely will be staying here again! Just make sure to book in advance!”

“The room was comfortable but inconvenient as we had to carry our luggage up three flights of stairs. There was no staff on duty in the house for our entire stay. The $15 breakfast voucher didn't cover the cost of one meal and there were two of us. Won't ever stay here again as it is not suited for senior citizens.”

“Stay away from this apartment. The apartment was easily in excess of 90 degrees with very inadequate air conditioning. In addition the owner remotely disconnected the air conditioning after 9 p.m. and the temperature in the apartment exceeded 90 degrees. It is very unnerving that the owner has electronic devices that they control remotely. After contacting the owner, they said there is nothing they can do about it and refused to change anything or to refund my money. Do not stay here.”
