“The room was great- exactly as described. The gentleman owner was kind - lived on the premises and spent a lot of our stay mowing the lawn and working in the gardens. Would be a bit uncomfortable for femme people traveling alone, but a good set up for people looking for conversation or company. ”

“Can't say enough good things about this property. Communication with the hosts was prompt and pleasant. They accommodated us when we requested to add an extra night which we really appreciated. The location is wonderful--right in the heart of Salem with a close walk to restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Salem or the North Shore.”

“Salem has been a bucket list and this property was a gem. It was far enough away from downtown that it was quite and close enough we could walk to see all of the sights. It was very clean and the host was wonderful she even stocked the pantry with some Ramen noodles and Mac and cheese which my daughter loves. All in all it was exactly what we needed and the price was great”

“My flight was cancelled and I was at a loss of where to stay. I found this property. I was so relieved until I was at the property for about 20 minutes. It was very musty and I had a horrible asthma attack and couldn’t sleep because of the must and mold. The bedding probably wasn’t clean and the mattress and pillows were due for a change out about 3 years ago. The carpet was really dirty. The bathroom and kitchen were nice. The living room furniture was dirty too. Wish I had something more...

“I cannot give this rental a decent review. From the floors to the bathroom, kitchen counters, inside the refrigerator, kitchen table surface all were filthy. I would think that accommodating guests with simple things like a towel rack in the bathroom, a hook to hang your clothing ect. would be there for use. There was a half roll of toilet tissue available in the bathroom for 2 people for 3 1/2 days of a stay. The towels for showering were stored under the night stands in the bedroom and...
